Dear Pink,

You are so right. I think that it should be required reading. With an explanation of course too happy.

Thanks for writing.

I was impressed that it seemed to be so appropriate to the present time--almost as those the author were my comtemporary.

May I also recommend 'Code of the Samurai' - a 400-year-old explication of the rules and expectations in Bushido (the Way of the Warrior). Translation by Thomas Cleary 1999. It defines the proper behavior expected from samurais when dealing with family, in business, employment, education, and war, among other things. It's required reading at my sons' martial arts dojo. Emphasis is on:
Integrity
Honor
Perseverance
Self Control
Courtesy
Respect
Dedication
and physical health, strength, cleanliness, and agility.

Sounds great to me. It's on my list as of your recommendation.
.
I'm finishing off a couple of books now; one on the Mayflower community and the other about communications. But, your book will be on my selves sooner than later.
.
Thanx-a-millyun!

Hawknut,

I have read the book and will be discussing it soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
