» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Interesting

In response to Delivery posted by xanthippe:

Your profile says you are here to "expand" your "knowledge." If that's true, then your assumptions and accusations don't bear that out.

I am not as big a fan of George W. Bush as you seem to think. I just don't think he's the dictatorial, corrupt, conspirator that we so often read about on the Internet. The truth is that he's disappointed me in a number of areas.

Setting aside Bush, though, your dismissive attitude toward me because I'm a pastor and for my alleged "right-wingedness" does not show you to be a person truly interested in expanding your knowledge. Seems you're just interested in venting.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Your rationale, Pink

In response to Look at your rationale posted by pink101:

So if the "common people" (and that's a slippery term) in a society suffer at the hand of "unbridled capitalism" (another slippery term), then extra-legal and violent measures are justified to change the social and economic order?

» xanthippe - Interesting

In response to Interesting posted by BrianTubbs:

None of my opinions are based on "the internet." I am careful to weigh the accuracy and bias of my sources.

Watch the BBC news. Compare it to CNN. The BBC gives you a much better idea of what's going on in our country. The main media here is really "careful" about mentioning uncomfortable subjects.

"Venting"--is that what you call blogging an opinion one truly holds? Well, then I guess that's what we're ALL doing here. Bush is absolute evil, and your lectures won't change my opinion.

BTW--I did not dismiss you for your being a pastor. I was using your title. I got the impression of your right-wingedness simply from reading your posts and your profile/page. Don't worry, I won't be reading any more of them. For me, this is done. Thank you.

No big deal. That kind of stuff is common in life.

I do wish there were a way to discern the truth about what is going on down in Venezuela. That might be one of the most desirable pieces of geography on the entire globe.

I watched an interesting program on the History Channel about Che Guevara.
.
That was a very enlightening time in our history.
.
I wonder if his story will ever be well told from his perspective?
