I'll give Lakoff kudos for understanding the significance of FRAMING in public discourse. The problem is that he (and you) often accuse only conservatives of framing, and ignore the fact that liberals and progressives do it as well. Everyone frames. The key is to be honest and open about it.

But Lakoff sees government as being much, much more involved in actively providing for the welfare of the people than most of our Founders would be comfortable with. I don't want to label Lakoff a "socialist," but he does tend that way.
